State Of The Blog - August 2022

Another month, another update... and if you like backlog content and phantom posts, then this is the update for you.

Video Review Updates
Took a bit of a personal break, which meant the review cycle is kinda mucked. On the bright side, #900 hits on the Friday after my birthday. Do the math.

Also, regarding backlog updates, that's stalled at the moment. It seems that Dailymotion decided that some of my stuff is more copyright-infringing that the full episodes of television shows uploaded by other people and took that stuff down. I'm gonna do what I can to get it back up, but at the moment, I'm just fed up. In the interim, embeds will be featuring the Youtube uploads, which haven't seen much in the way of alterations.

Video commentary progress is going to resume at some point. I was hoping to get these done in the order they were made in the first place, but I guess I'm going to have to find some other means of doing... fuck me.

Backlog Update - All The Monday Night TNA Impact Musings Uploaded
So, once upon a time in 2010, TNA (a.k.a. Impact Wrestling) moved their Impact show to Monday Nights to compete with WWE's RAW show. This did not go well and after a couple months, Impact limped its way back to Thursday nights. I've posted musings on a couple episodes during this time, but I had actually written musings on all these episodes in some form or fashion. After a bit of polishing, these posts are now available for consumption via the following links or through the TNA Impact Zone tab.

For your benefit, I'm including the previously published posts in addition to the newly restored lost TNA musings - including thoughts on some IMPACT spoilers - so you can enjoy all of this wonderfulness without missing a beat.

Just to throw this as a bonus, but I recently watched the first Monday IMPACT show that took place on January 4th, 2010.

Backlog Update - Additional Written Commentaries
Added some more additional commentaries to the backlog. Some of these are actually transcribed blurbs from the DTM-Cast notes, edited for better readability.
