Rerez. Tallarico. Intellivision. No Plimpton.

So the folks at Rerez did an interview with longtime video game composer, Electric Playground co-host, Video Games Live guy, and current Intellivision head honcho Tommy Tallarico to discuss Intellivision's upcoming Amico console that's due to be released in the year 2020. It's a rather good interview that covers most of the bases and concerns that some might have regarding the console. Hence, why I opted to post it here on this blog.

I'll provide my own thoughts and feelings on the project somewhere down the line, but the interview got me intrigued enough to follow its progress. In short, these guys seem to know what they're doing and that's a good sign to any product's success and longevity.
