TNA No Surrender 2010

So it's another TNA PPV... and outside of the RAW Byte post for tomorrow's show, no more wrestling-related posts for the rest of the week. Seems like that was all I talked about this past week here. Anyway, here are the results:

The Motorcity Machine Guns retain the TNA World Tag-Team Championships by defeating Generation ME. The match was originally supposed to be against the team of London Brawling, but due to personal reasons, they couldn't make it to the PPV. Hey, you know what? If these guys could have a decent match on Impact, then it's no problem.

TNA X-Division Champion Douglas Williams defeated Sabu to retain the title.

Velvet Sky defeated Madison Rayne in a non-offensive match... no, really. It was okay.

Abyss defeats Rhino in a Fall Counts Anywhere match and informs Dixie that "they" are coming at Bound for Glory... presumably "they" must mean Dixie's daddy who's looking to cut his losses.

Samoa Joe and an old guy defeat two other old guys via Joe choking out one of the old guys on the other team. No, I'm not going to dignify this stupid storyline by referring to the old guys by name. Fuck that.

AJ Styles defeated Tommy Dreamer in an "I Quit" match... well, the right guy won, at least.

The semi-final World Title tournament match between Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy went to a no-contest after two restarts of the match due to time outs. Pretty much one of the biggest bullshit endings in a long time. If all you're going to do is a no-contest, what's the fucking point of teasing the need to have a clear-cut winner? It reeks of pure, unadulterated BULLSHIT.

Ken Anderson defeats the Pope to advance to the finals at Bound for Glory. Brilliant.

Overall, an okay show... but man, that ending was BULL-FUCKING-SHIT.

I'm out. Later.
