WWE New Year's Revolution 2005

New Year's Revolution... sucked. I mean, seriously, it was a really crappy PPV. To its credit, it's not the worst, but that doesn't mean shit because the show was plain bad. Let's see what matches we have today.

Eugene/William Regal beat Christian/Tyson Tomko to retain the World Tag-Team Championships
What's with the Hogan shirt all of a sudden? Not a bad opening bout, but I wasn't into it or anything. Eugene got injured and may need surgery.

Trish Stratus beat Lita to win the Women's Championship for a record sixth time.
Sad thing is nobody cares, as evident by the fact that Trish wasn't on RAW last night. Oh yeah, Lita gets injured, but at least she doesn't need surgery. Because of said injury, the match was shortened by a lot.

Shelton Benjamin makes a joke out of Maven not once, but TWICE, to retain the I-C title.
Pure, inept shit. 'Nuff said.

I'm not even going to dignify the Hassan/Lawler match-up because it's hard to call it a wrestling match. If Hassan's only skill is bodyslamming people, then he isn't going to last long. 'Nuff said.

Kane beats Gene Snitsky.
Who cares? Just end it. Don't extend it. END IT NOW, YOU DUMB FUCKS! Next.

Like I said, a truly horrendous show. So bad I want my money back, even though I saw it at a friend's house and hence didn't pay for it.

Oh yeah, HHH is the world champ. No comment.

What a shitty PPV.

Later.
