4044 - The Hard Math Of Blog Posts... Again

For those curious about the number of blog posts, here's the breakdown of how many posts were made per year. I did this once before, but here are some updated numbers.

2009: 28 (#1 to #28)
2010: 220 (#29 to #249)
2011: 400 (#250 to #650)
2012: 549 (#651 to #1199)
2013: 514 (#1200 to #1713)
2014: 500 (#1714 to #2213)
2015: 540 (#2214 to #2753)
2016: 281 (#2754 to #3034)
2017: 280 (#3035 to #3314)
2018: 686 (#3315 to #4000)

From 2012 to 2015, I've been outputting around five hundred to five hundred and fifty posts per year before the lean period between 2016 and 2017 where the output is nearly sliced in half. 2018 has been a rather heavy year in terms of posts, especially now that I've discovered what else I can add to the mix in terms of material.

Do I expect 2019 to be as heavy? Probably not, but I'd like for the post quality to be a bit higher than the post quantity... or at least be on par.

Would be nice and we'll see.
